KR - NYC Tagger, Artist - BE@RBRICK 1000%
KR was a famous tagger in the late 1980s into the early 90s and beyond. He tagged primarily in New York City and San Francisco with contemporaries such as Shepard Fairey, SHOK, RYZE, TWIST (Barry McGee), Dan Plasma, and Dr. Revolt. KR was a "bomber" a graffiti artist who focused more on volume than on the artistry of letterform. As a tagger he was influential in popularizing the use of "fat caps", and drips, which he later carried into his successful gallery work.
Krink is a brand name of inks and markers sold by Krink, Inc. The inks and markers are made in the US. It was started by artist Craig Costello aka "KR". [2] "Krink" is a portmanteau of "KR" and "ink". Costello started making his own markers in the early 90s and then began selling his homemade product on the streets.
